Hey everyone! This week, I chose to do a brief IXL walkthrough because it is a site the school I work at  uses all the time. For a deeper look into how IXL can benefit high school teachers and students, check out my video below!

  1. Beth,
I absolutely love that you chose to discuss IXL for your technology tool! IXL is something that I use constantly with my sixth grade students because it is wonderful for differentiating and customizing instruction for my students based on their individual needs, just like you mentioned in your video. The adaptive nature of it, that you talked about, is one of the many reasons that IXL lessons work so well for all of my students regardless of their skill level. The diagnostic is something that I have my students work on at the beginning of the year to give me a better idea of exactly where I am starting with them for all of their ELA skills. Thank you for sharing!
